If you want to make a small space look bigger, you can do that in different ways. One of them is to place a mirror. And that mirror can be as large as possible. The mirror will give extra depth and despite its size will not dominate the room. Placing a mirror in a narrow, long corridor is a great way to make the space a bit more interesting.
You can see a mirror as a tool. But a mirror is much more. A mirror is of course very useful when you apply your make-up or want to see if your clothes look good. But a mirror is also something you can use to decorate your interior.
Make the room look bigger If you have a fairly small living room, hang a large mirror on the wall. That way, a large part of the room reflects in the mirror and that seems so much larger.
Another way is to make a mirror wall from top to bottom. This gives you the optical idea that there is a whole other space behind it.
You make optimal use of the magnifying effect of mirrors by hanging a mirror on two adjacent walls, i.e. the corners on top of each other. So one mirror on each wall. Do this for example with a dining table and you get the impression that you are sitting in a dining room.
Hang a mirror in such a way that the light from outside is reflected in it. So, for example, in front of a window. The light that falls into the mirror makes the room look lighter than it is.
